Exceptionally Sturdy Folding Pavilions for Professional Use
Pro-Tent’s extremely sturdy folding tents combine Swiss engineering, innovative profile technology, and high-end materials used in aircraft construction. Thanks to the 16-fold-bent omega profile, system grooves for rain- and windproof side walls, and modular ballasting systems, these tents can withstand even extreme wind and weather conditions.
Products from Switzerland are valued worldwide. With Pro-Tent, you can count on proven quality in every detail. These extremely sturdy folding tents impress with their exceptional durability, well-engineered scissor-fold design, and maximum load-bearing capacity to meet the highest demands.
For example, at Pro-Tent, we don’t rely on thick tubes—we rely on smart design. This is demonstrated by our 16-fold-bent Omega profile, which is used in the Pro-Tent 4000 and Pro-Tent 5000 series
As a result, our Pro-Tent 5000 profile, for example—with a width of 45 mm and a diameter of 52 mm—achieves an “unfolded” profile circumference of an impressive 233 mm thanks to its special shape.
By comparison: In conventional profile designs, this corresponds to a diameter of 83 mm or 65 mm, respectively.
Additional stability features at a glance
- Wind- and rain-tight system grooves: Side walls are slid directly into the grooves, and optional end strips are secured with eccentric turnbuckles.
- High-tech connectors: Corner connectors and hinges are made of glass-fiber-reinforced plastic used in aircraft construction—extremely durable and lightweight at the same time.
- Rust-free special alloy: Telescopic legs, roof profiles, and cross connectors are made of a highly durable, scratch-resistant, and rust-free aluminum alloy.
- Gable compression spring: Ensures a perfectly taut roof and dynamically absorbs the force of strong gusts of wind.
- Tent Anchoring: A wide selection of different anchoring options, such as various types of weight plates, professional guy line sets, water weights, or even mobile weight carts for every conceivable situation.
- Weather-resistant tent fabric: Durable polyester fabric (UPF 50+, B1 flame-retardant, 100% waterproof thanks to welded seams).

Engineering Excellence & Accessories for Extreme Loads
Sturdy edge strips & cross connectors
Aluminum cross-connectors and end strips not only create a clean, finished look at the base but also provide additional structural rigidity to the entire tent frame.
Transport protection & anti-lift device
- Retaining Spring: Prevents the telescoping legs from accidentally slipping out during transport.
- Locking pins: Secure the legs directly into the weight plates so that the tent cannot be lifted out of its mount, even during strong gusts of wind.
Quality with Social Responsibility
Pro-Tent is committed not only to technical excellence but also to social sustainability: The tent systems are manufactured at the BSZ Foundation, a Swiss workshop for people with disabilities certified to DIN EN ISO 9001.
FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, in our in-house print shop, canopies and side panels can be custom-printed with logos, text, or large-scale photo designs.
Thanks to the extremely high load-bearing capacity of the aluminum profiles and plastic hinges, the tents can withstand exceptional loads—in a test, a Smart Fortwo was even suspended freely inside a Pro-Tent 5000.
