There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as every celebration takes place under different conditions. On average, however, you should calculate between 0.25 and 0.5 square meters of space per standing person in a tent.
A seated person requires between 0.7 and 2 square meters of space—depending on whether the seating is arranged in rows or whether guests are seated at beer benches, square, or round tables. Aisles, as well as space for the buffet and sound equipment, must also be factored into the calculation.
