One of the greatest strengths of professional folding tents is that they can be set up in no time at all. The base tent is in place in record time. Setting up a folding tent takes just a few simple steps: open the zipper on the carrying bag, slide the bag off, unfold the tent, adjust the height—and you’re done. Afterward, all accessories can be attached—from the side panels to the inner cabin. Takedown is also lightning-fast; the folding tent frame folds up quickly and is stowed away in the carrying bag. And all of this can be done without tools.

Setting up a pop-up tent is especially easy and fast when two people work together and stand on opposite sides during setup. However, one person is also sufficient to set up our folding tents. This simply requires a few extra steps and a little more time.
If you set up a folding tent outdoors, you should always secure it with tension straps and tent stakes. The weather can change quickly—this is especially common in the mountains. If a tent is blown away by a gust of wind, it can pose a danger or sustain damage. Therefore, safety comes first.
Thanks to the scissor mechanism, you rarely have to stretch or bend over when setting up or taking down the folding tent. This makes the setup process very easy on your back. Additionally, folding tents are relatively lightweight because they’re made of aluminum.
A high-quality folding pavilion is usually easy to take down. If it gets stuck, be sure to first check where the problem is. Often, the side panel tensioners haven’t been released beforehand, which prevents the frame from collapsing easily. Before packing away the folding pavilion, you should always make sure that the side walls and tent roof are completely dry. If the fabric is packed into the carrying bag while wet or damp, it can lead to mold or unsightly discoloration of the fabric.
