Sustainability since 1989

There is no Planet B!

Driven by personal conviction and the firm belief that the quality and durability of our products are the key to true sustainability, we are committed to ensuring that the world we live in remains a place worth living in for future generations.

As a company, we are aware of our economic, environmental, and social responsibilities and act accordingly. This requires clear principles, long-term goals, and a wide range of measures across all areas of the company, which we have outlined in our sustainability report. Going forward, we will review the results every two years and document our progress.

Quality is no accident, and that’s why quality comes at a price

Pro-Tent is a brand-name product. As a manufacturer, we live up to this standard and aim to provide you with a product that functions flawlessly and reliably even after 10 or 15 years of intensive use. To achieve this, we invest in our own product development, our own manufacturing facilities—including our own sewing shop and print shop—and, above all, in our many employees, of whom we are proud.

We know who assembles our tent frames, who sews our tent canopies and side walls, and who adds the finishing touches to your Pro-Tent with your custom print design. That’s what sets us apart from many other folding tent suppliers.

Good for our oceans, good for you!

In the future, you’ll be able to get Pro-Tent canopies and side walls in a particularly sustainable design. That’s because in 2023, we’ll begin the transition to recycled polyester fabrics. The first colors will be available starting in April, with the remaining colors in our portfolio to follow in the coming months.

This significant step in our sustainability strategy was preceded by an intensive three-year development and testing phase, during which we put the quality of the recycled fabrics through their paces to ensure they can truly withstand the harsh demands of outdoor use.

Our new fabrics are certified according to the criteria of the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). Among other things, the GRS ensures that the recycled materials can be precisely traced. It also sets production standards to reduce harmful impacts on people and the environment. The GRS seal thus stands not only for environmental responsibility but also for social responsibility. This is a commitment we at Pro-Tent share, and it continues to serve as the foundation for our goals and actions.
